Dear Friends in Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe and “Ski the East,”
Keep hyping up Pucker Face, talking ad nauseam about The Fingers Race, and celebrating Tuckerman Ravine’s man-swallowing caverns, respectively. You can have ‘em because we have Dipsy Headwall in Aspen!
It’s the best 200 vertical feet on Ajax, the highest north-facing aspect on the Silver Queen, and a local favorite. If you know, you know…
Those who ski Ajax often have an affinity for Dipsy Headwall. It’s nothing special—but it is. All of us love the zone, and we all think we ski it properly.
This is a micro film I’ve wanted to make for 15 years. “How Do You Dipsy?” will try to highlight how we all approach terrain differently but share the same goal: have fun skiing.
To pique your interest, here are a few teasers of what’s to come in an upcoming film project entitled “How Do You Dipsy?” Below you’ll see how Tats and Trexler do Dipsy—smooth, fall line, bouncy, and fun with with a detonation at the end for Tatsuno and a few trenched turns for Hirn. Both were shot recently on Ajax.
The entire team at Fall Line is excited to roll out these behind-the-scenes nuggets from our first film project. Soon, “How Do You Dipsy?” will be gracing screens (iPhones and laptops) with edited clips tailored to newsfeeds, IG Stories, and YouTube Shorts. Until then, check out these BTS shots from our first day filming Fall Line Films’ first project: “How Do You Dipsy?”
There’s more to come from Fall Line soon on this topic!
Sincerely,
Greg Fitz

PS…
We’ll most likely be up there Friday for the final bits of “How Do You Dipsy?” footage gathering, please let me know if you’re interested in joining. Here’s the invite that was sent out to some of my favorite people in Aspen:
